College Secretary & Correspondent Dr. Chinamilli Satyanarayana Rao to implement Central Government Policy under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) at NITI Aayog, established “Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre” (IED Centre) in Sri Y.N.College in the year 2019, on October 11th. Prof. P.Suresh Varma, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajamahendravaram, inaugurated the IED Centre.

The IED Centre is the creative hub at Sri Y.N. College that nurtures the entrepreneurial endeavours of all the students. This Centre gives the guidelines to build entrepreneurship skills. The Centre’s aim is “job creators rather than job seekers”. The College’s IED Centre aspires to provide the training, expertise, mentorship, support and connections that IED Centre student to become effective young entrepreneurs. Students will meet a wide range of entrepreneurs to generate new ideas and devise new solutions. To put youngsters ideas into action.They learn from setbacks to comebacks. The IED Centre creates an entrepreneurial mindset in students.

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre focuses on three wings – “Young Entrepreneurship, Rural Entrepreneurship and Women Entrepreneurship”.
