Gandhian Studies Centre Activities during the Academic Year 2021-22:

  • Three Months Certificate Course/Value Added Course in “Gandhian Philosophy” was inaugurated at DNR Govt. Degree College for Women, Palakol on 29th December,2021

  • An Orientation and Guest Lecture on “Gandhiji and his Thought” was delivered by Dr. NGS Prasad, HOD of MBA, Swarnandhra Institute of Engineering & Technology to the students of Gandhian Philosophy Course on 28th December,2021.

  • A Lecture on “Gandhiji’s Views on Human Rights” was delivered by Dr.P Venkata Subba Rao to the students of BBA in their Classroom on 10th December,2021 on the occasion of Human Rights Day

  • Our Gandhian Studies Centre organized a programme on the occasion of Chinthalapati Murthy Raju’s(True Gandhian) 10th Death Anniversary on 12th November 2021 at Lenin High School, Narsapur.

  • In association with NSS Units of our college, Gandhian Studies Centre celebrated Sardhar Vallabhai Patel Jayanthi on 30th October, 2021.

  • Gandhian Studies Centre Celebrated “ UNO Day Celebrations” on 23rd October, 2021 in our College E-Classroom.

  • In association with Lions Club of Narsapur, our Centre organized Essay Writing Competitions on the occasion of UNO Day to the Students of Degree level on 22nd October,2021 through Off-line mode. Nearly 36 Students were participated in this event.

  • Our Gandhian Studies Centre organized a Peace Rally On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi on Oct 2nd 2021.

  • Gandhiji’s Statue Unveiled by Prof. M. Jagannadham, Vice Chancellor, Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajhamahendravaram on 25th September,2021 in our Gandhian Studies Centre.

  • As part of 152nd Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations, State- Wide On-line Essay Writing competitions were organized to the High school and College Students on 15th September 2021 and Also State-wide On-line Drawing Competitions were organized at the School and College levels on 15th & 22nd September, 2021 through On-line mode,

  • The Centre organized a National Level Quiz Programme on “Mahatma Gandhiji’s Life and Freedom Struggle” from 1st August to 7th August,2021 on the occasion of 75th Independence Day through On-line mode.

Gandhian Studies Centre Activities during the Academic Year 2020-21:

  • Three Months Certificate Course/Value Added Course in “Gandhian Philosophy” was inaugurated Prof. K Ramohan Rao, Vice Chairman APSCHE in Sri Y N College on 6th March,2021.

  • Three Months Certificate course was inaugurated in DNR Govt Degree College for Women, Palakol by Dr. Ch Srinivas, Director,HRD Centre, Sri Y N College(A) on 26th February,2021.

  • An Orientation and Guest Lecture on “ Gandhiji and Personality Development” was delivered by Dr. Ch Srinivas, Director, HRD Centre and Dr. P Venkata Subba Rao to X Class Students in MPLH School Rustumbada, on 30th Deember,2020.

  • An Orientation and Guest Lecture on “Gandhiji and his Thought” was delivered by Sri R V Subba Rao Academic & Research advisor, and Dr. P Venkata Subba Rao to the students of X Class in ZPH School, Pippall Vari Thota, Mogaltur, on 29th December,2020

  • In association with Lions Club of Narsapur, our Centre organized Essay Writing Competitions to the Students of School and College levels on 18th October,2020 through On-line mode.

  • As part of 151st Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations, Sri R V Subba Rao, Academic & Research Avisor(Scientist), delivered a Guest Talk on “ Truth and Non Violence” on 2nd October, 2020 in Sub-Jail, Narsapur.

  • As part of 151st Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations, State- Wide On-line Essay Writing competitions were organized to the High school and College Students on 28th September 2020 and Also State-wide On-line Drawing Competitions were organized at the School and College levels on 18th & 28th September, 2020 through On-line mode

  • The Centre organized a National Level Quiz Programme from 13th to 23rd July,2020 through On-line mode nearly 1190 students were participated in this event.

  • Gandhian Studies Centre Activities during the Academic Year 2019-20:

    • An Orientation and Guest Lecture on “Gandhiji and Personality Development” was delivered by Dr Ch. Srinivas, Director ,HRD Centre, and Dr P V Subba Rao to the X Class Students in Viveka Eng. Medium School at Mogaltur on 6th February,2020.

    • As part of 150th Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations, District-wide Elocution Competitions and Drawing Competitions were conducted on 16th & 7th September 2019 in our college premises to the students of high school and college levels.

    • Three Months Certificate Courses have been conducted in Sri YN Degree College and Dr. C.S.Rao PG Centre of Sri Y N College Narsapur was inaugurated by Sri Prasad Thotakura, Founder President, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial of North Texas, USA, in Sri Y.N. College on 23rd December, 2019.

    Gandhian Studies Centre Activities during the Academic Year 2018-19:

    • A Guest Lecture was given by Dr. Sk. Suleman, General Manager, EDCIL, New Delhi to the PG students on 22nd Dec 2018.

    • A Photo Exhibition on Mahatma Gandhiji’s Life was organized from 3rd Oct 2018 to 9th Oct 2018 in our PG Library Reading Hall.

    • Peace rally was conducted on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma on 1st Oct 2018 from Sri Y N College to the Bus Complex and back to our College, in which students and staff participated.

    • The Centre conducted District Level Essay Writing and Drawing Competitions to College and High School students on Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 26 September 2018.
