NSS Activities during the Academic Year 2019-20:

  • NSS Units conducted Fit India Cycle Rally on 15-1-2020 with collaboration of Nehru Yuva Kendram.

  • NSS units conducted rally on world AIDS day HIV/ AIDS on 1st December, 2019. During the rally volunteers distributed pamphlets to the public on the aware of HIV/ AIDS.

  • Our College NSS Units conducted Special Camp from 21st November, 2019 to 27th November, 2019.

  • NSS Units organized Blood Donation Camp on 17th October, 2019 with the collaboration of Narsapur Town Police Staff event of Police Amara verula Smarkadinotsavam.

  • 170 NSS Volunteers visited Agricultural fields on 03-10-2019. During this visit Principal Dr. K. Venkateswarlu, NSS Pos RV Satyanarayana and S. Yacob also visited field trip along with students.

  • NSS Volunteers celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi on 2nd October, 2019. In that programme students were instructed to follow Gandhiji’s ideas and ideals.

  • Our College celebrated NSS Day on 24th September, 2019. On the occasion the NSS Unit 1 & 2 conducted Essay Writing and Elocution Competitions and the prizes were distributed to the winners who stood 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the competition.

  • NSS Units of Sri Y N College conducted 150th Gandhi Sankalpa Yathra on 19th August, 2019 with collaboration of Gandhian Studies Centre, Sri Y N College, Narsapur

  • Our NSS Volunteers organized Tree Plantation Programme on 16th July, 2019 and 4th August, 2019. They planted 50 saplings of different kinds in and around the college campus.

  • Our NSS Volunteers participated in World Day Against Child Labour on 12th June, 2019,’Rally’ was organized by the Volunteers.

NSS Activities during the Academic Year 2018-19:

  • NSS Volunteers Particiapted in Mahashivaratri Festival on 4th March, 2019 and helped the police in maintaining Queue and Discipline.

  • NSS Volunteers participated in Blood Donation Camp on 02-03-2019 and 35 Volunteers donated blood.

  • NSS Volunteers participated in Antharvedhi Festival from 12-02-2019 to 21-02-2019 and helped the police in maintaining Queue.

  • NSS Special Camp conducted from 21st November, 2018 to 27th November, 2018.

  • NSS Unit-I & Unit-II organized Rally on Environmental protection on 17-11-2018.

  • NSS Units organized 2K Run on 7th October, 2018 to create awareness on Voter Enrollment.

  • NSS Volunteers participated in Kerala Flood Relief Fund Collection programme from 30th August, 2018 to 31st August, 2018 and They collected an amount of Rs. 30,000/-

  • NSS Unit-I and Unit-II organized Navanirmana Deeksha Varostavalu-2018 from 2nd June, 2018 to 8th June , 2018 and NSS Volunteers participated in the programme at Saripalli, Chinamamidipalli and Narsapur Town . They Conducted several awreness as well as traditional programmes.

NSS Activities during the Academic Year 2017-18:

  • Our College NSS Units Special Camp at adopted Village Pedamainavanilanka from 16th November, 2017 to 22nd November, 2017, 100 Volunteers participated in the camp. During the special camp our volunteers conducted different programmes like Swatch Bharat, Tree Plantation, ODF Survey, Awareness Programme on Education, Environment, Sanitation and HIV/AIDS.

  • Our Volunteers conducted Swatch Bharat Programme in our College Campus very often to maintain cleanliness. Some of our staff members also participated in this programme in the month of July and August.

  • NSS Units of Sri Y N College(A) adopted 6 Villages to conduct ODF Survey from 27th November, 2017 to 30th November, 2017. This was the prestigious programme of the Government, 60 volunteers participated in the programme

  • Orientation was given to NSS Volunteers on 7th and 8th September, 2017 to enlight the Volunteers about their duties and responsibilities.

  • NSS Units of Sri Y N College(A) conducted Vanam-Manam programme in the college campus on 26th August, 2017 and also in the adopted village Pedamainavanilanka on 16th November, 2017.

  • Our NSS Units observed all the important days like Ambedkar Jayanthi on 14th April, 2017, Gandhi Jayanthi on 2nd October, 2017, NSS Foundation Day Celebrations on 24th September, 2017.

NSS Activities during the Academic Year 2016-17:

  • Our NSS Volunteers Conducted lavatory survey at pedamynavani Lanka on 05-03-2017 by the instructions of Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

  • Our NSS Volunteers participated in Maha Sivaratri Festival held at Lakshmaneswaram on 24th February, 2017. They assisted the Local Police in maintain queue and also assisted the Management of Sivalayam Temple in distribution of water and food.

  • During Antervedi Festival our NSS Volunteers rendered their service on 5th , 8th and 10th February, 2017. They assisted the police in maintaining Queue and Assisted the organizers (NGO’s) in Distribution of water and pulihara.

  • NSS Volunteers of our College participated in Rally on the occasion of 7th National Voters Day on 25th January, 2017. They made awareness on the importance of registration for enrolment in voters list that who completed the age 18 years.

  • Our NSS Volunteers participated in Vanam-Manam Programme on 1st October, 2016. On this Occasion 30 saplings were planted in college campus.

  • NSS Day Celebrations were conducted on 23rd September, 2016 and Capt. Syam Sundhar attended as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, the NSS Cell conducted Essay Writing and Elocution Competitions and the Prizes were distributed to the winners who stood 1st , 2nd & 3rd on the event.

  • 55 NSS Volunteers donated Blood in Blood Donation Camp conducted by Sri Mullapudi Hari Chandra Prasad Red Cross Blood Bank, Tanuku in our college 14th September, 2016.

  • NSS Special Camp conducted at Valanther Ghat & Kondalamma Temple during Godavari Anthya Pushkarams from 31st July, 2016 to 12th August, 2016.

  • Cool Water Point at Sri Y N College with the collaboration of Community Service Centre from 09-05-2016 to 30-06-2016, supplied Buttermilk to civilians in hot summer in all the days.
